As a key member of NYP's Compliance and Privacy Program team, you will play a critical role in advancing a modern, data-driven compliance function. This includes enhancing and implementing compliance processes, leveraging AI-enabled tools and analytics where appropriate to strengthen risk identification, reviewing policies, and raising awareness of patient privacy rights. Your work will help foster a proactive, forward-looking culture of compliance at one of New York’s top-ranked hospitals.

    

Campus Compliance and Privacy Manager - Corporate Compliance

As the Campus Compliance and Privacy Manager, you will oversee and evolve the corporate compliance and privacy program across the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital system, including multiple campuses and affiliates. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, leading investigations, and resolving non-compliant matters with consistency and sound judgment. In addition, you will chair campus compliance committees, serve as a trusted resource for compliance and privacy matters, and contribute to the thoughtful adoption of technology and data-driven approaches that enhance monitoring and program effectiveness. Under the guidance of the Director of Campus Compliance, you'll build strong strategic relationships with Campus Senior Management and play a visible role in executive-level reporting and engagement. Additionally, you will translate compliance insights into clear, actionable recommendations, and implement strategies that enhance compliance and privacy performance through risk assessment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

This is a full time position working 4 days (at either the Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan, Columbia Hospital in Washington Heights, and Queens Hospital in Flushing), and the ability for 1 day remote.

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s Degree

  • Experience in compliance and privacy within the hospital/healthcare setting

  • Knowledge of healthcare laws, and standards, particularly Medicare, Medicaid, and Privacy and Security regulations

  • CHC, CHPC, CIPP, CIPM, CCEP, CHRC or CHC-F certified through The Health Care Compliance Association, International Association of Privacy Professionals or Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Five to seven years’ experience relating to healthcare compliance and privacy with a thorough knowledge and understanding of compliance and privacy regulation

  • High level of written and oral communications skills

  • Knowledge of and ability to identify best practices and development of a program of continuous improvements

$127,000-$176,500/Annual
