Summary:
The Business Performance & Analytics Senior contributes to reporting, analytics, and performance management initiatives by developing dashboards, reports, scorecards, and analytical solutions that provide meaningful business insights and performance visibility.
This role partners with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs, deliver reporting and analytical solutions, and contribute to accurate, reliable, and actionable performance reporting. The Senior is expected to work independently within assigned areas while also partnering with Business Performance & Analytics Principals and other team members on larger initiatives and more complex workstreams.
The role requires a balance of reporting development, data analysis, problem-solving, stakeholder partnership, attention to detail, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, scorecards, and reporting solutions that support operational and business priorities.
• Develop and maintain KPI reporting, performance measurement, and scorecard solutions across functional areas.
• Perform trend analysis, root-cause analysis, and data investigations to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify reporting needs, and deliver reporting and analytical solutions.
• Validate data, reconcile reporting outputs, and perform quality reviews to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Contribute to reporting modernization, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform and contribute to forecasting, workload analysis, and performance reporting activities.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and project work requiring reporting, measurement, and analytical expertise.
• Document reporting logic, KPI definitions, data sources, and reporting methodologies.
• Apply established reporting standards, governance practices, and data quality controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, reporting efficiency, and data usability.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, operational reporting, performance management, or analytics-enabled business support.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, scorecards, or business intelligence solutions.
• Strong Power BI experience, including report development, data modeling, measures, visualizations, and dashboard maintenance.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Experience working with operational, financial, client, quality, productivity, or performance-related metrics.
• Experience gathering requirements and partnering with business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to reporting accuracy and data quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
