About this opportunity:
We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join the Compliance Office at Ericsson and form part of a world-class compliance, integrity, and risk function - reflecting Ericsson's commitment to a holistic, forward-looking approach to compliance, integrity, and risk management across the business.
You will play an important role in reinforcing a strong compliance culture, promoting ethical conduct, and supporting the execution of Ericsson's Ethics & Compliance Program across India. A key focus of the role will be supporting Ericsson's Third-Party Due Diligence (TPDD) program and delivering compliance training and awareness activities. Working closely with business and Compliance stakeholders, you will help identify and mitigate compliance risks, provide practical guidance, and support risk-based initiatives that enable responsible business growth.
The role supports a broad range of ethics and compliance risk areas, including anti-bribery and corruption, competition law, anti-money laundering, human rights, anti-fraud, anti-terrorism, and third-party risk management. You will work closely with business leaders and employees to support the implementation of compliance processes, contribute to risk mitigation efforts, and help foster a culture of integrity and accountability.
You will collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders by providing practical guidance and implement initiatives across the business. This role is well suited to a compliance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic international environment, has strong analytical and organizational skills, and is passionate about helping the business operate ethically and responsibly.
What you will do:
• Support Ericsson's Third-Party Due Diligence (TPDD) program, including risk assessments, due diligence reviews, onboarding, monitoring, and remediation activities. • Deliver compliance training, awareness programs, and communication initiatives to promote a strong culture of integrity and compliance. • Provide practical guidance to employees, managers, and business stakeholders on compliance requirements, policies, and processes. • Support the implementation and monitoring of Ericsson's Ethics & Compliance Program across business units and legal entities. • Identify, assess, and mitigate ethics and compliance risks through risk-based reviews and monitoring activities. • Execute local compliance priorities and annual compliance plans, focusing on key risk areas. • Partner with Sales, Sourcing, Legal, Finance, HR, and other stakeholders to identify and manage compliance risks. • Support investigations, case management, reporting processes, and interactions with regulators when required. • Assist with compliance due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and support integration activities. • Prepare compliance reports, metrics, and management updates.
The skills you bring:
• University degree in Law, Business, Accounting, Finance, or another relevant discipline• 3-6 years of professional experience in compliance, legal, audit, finance, risk management, or a related field• Good understanding of compliance principles, governance processes, and regulatory requirements• Experience supporting third-party due diligence, compliance training, ethics programs, internal controls, or related compliance activities is preferred• Experience with, or willingness to learn, compliance, risk management, third-party due diligence, case management, and AI-enabled tools and platforms to support effective compliance operations• Experience in areas such as antitrust, competition law, AML, sanctions, trade compliance, or data privacy is an advantage• High level of integrity and strong alignment with Ericsson's values of respect, professionalism, and perseverance• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on actions in a fast-paced environment• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative working relationships across functions and cultures• Ability to work independently with a structured, analytical, and goal-oriented approach• International experience is an advantage• Fluent in English (spoken and written)• Ability to manage and execute projects across multiple time zones• Willingness to travel as required
