ABOUT THE POSITION
Compliance Lawyer at BURGA is more than just a title - it’s a front-row seat to the evolution of a brand that’s taking the world by storm. You'll be at the heart of an extremely versatile and fast-paced environment, where new collections, campaigns, and product launches will keep you sharp and excited.
Your Role: be the guardian of BURGA’s global compliance, ensuring our fast-growing business operates with precision, integrity, and foresight. You’ll navigate complex regulations across multiple markets, building systems that keep us ahead of legal and industry requirements. From safeguarding our trademarks and patents to ensuring product safety, trade compliance, and GDPR standards, your expertise will protect the brand while enabling bold growth. With a sharp eye for detail and a proactive mindset, you’ll balance legal rigor with business agility, keeping BURGA compliant, competitive, and future-ready.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Shape BURGA's regulatory strategy across all markets, anticipating legal developments and their business impact.
- Design and embed compliance frameworks that enable business growth whilst managing risk.
- Build and protect BURGA's intellectual property portfolio as a strategic business asset.
- Lead product compliance strategy, ensuring market access and competitive advantage.
- Develop international trade and customs strategies that optimise supply chain efficiency.
- Advise on consumer protection and e-commerce legal positioning to strengthen brand trust.
- Drive sustainability compliance strategy in alignment with environmental regulations and corporate values.
- Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to integrate legal considerations into business processes.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of strategic legal or compliance experience in e-commerce, consumer goods, or tech sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business strategy.
- General understanding of GDPR, consumer protection, e-commerce, and international trade law with a commercial mindset.
- Experience managing intellectual property as a business growth lever (patents, designs, trademarks).
- Proficiency in leveraging legal research tools and AI solutions to drive efficiency and insight.
- Strategic thinker who anticipates risks and opportunities, not just responds to them.
- Proactive, commercially aware, and able to balance legal rigour with business pragmatism.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all organisational levels.
SALARY: 2800 - 3800 EUR/Month GROSS. We’re open to discussing it based on your skills and competencies.
