Position Summary

We are seeking a Compliance Coordinator to ensure daily operations, records, and processes comply with federal, state, and local laws governing the manufacturing, distribution, and sale of firearms. This role will play a critical part in maintaining proper licensing, record keeping, serialized inventory control, and reporting practices in alignment with Federal requirements. Prior regulatory experience is a plus.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and follow best practices to ensure the Company’s full compliance with federal, state and local firearm regulations.
  • Maintain and audit Acquisition & Disposition (A&D) bound book and other FFL records.
  • Assist with ATF inspections, audits, and correspondence, including preparing records and responding to agency requests promptly and accurately.
  • Coordinate and track NFA firearm manufacturing transfers and applicable forms.
  • Manage and navigate federal electronic registration and licensing systems, and government portals to ensure compliance and maintain up-to-date company credentials.
  • Maintain serialized inventory tracking systems and reconcile with physical inventory to prevent discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, shipping, and sales teams to ensure all firearms are manufactured, transferred, and distributed in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Coordinate any incoming serialized items.
  • Assist in the checking, allocation and shipping of all serialized items.
  • Oversee the movement of all serialized items incoming, outgoing and location to location.

  • Must possess strong communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory/ERP systems
  • 2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, manufacturing, firearms, or related field
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Proactive in identifying and solving problems
  • Ability to legally possess firearms under applicable laws.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must be able to pass criminal background test and drug test.

Must be punctual, meticulous, and reliable.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

This position is based in a manufacturing environment and may require the following over extended periods of time up to a full 8-hour work shift (excluding lunch and breaks): stand, walk, sit, squat or bend, kneel and rise, lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to — and occasionally exceeding — 50 pounds, view a computer or other digital screen, work on a computer, workstation or comparable system, and make accurate entries in such systems. Manual dexterity and fine motor skills are required for detailed assembly and precision work. Work may take place in areas with varying temperatures or no climate control, varying noise levels, and production equipment in motion. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in designated areas at all times as required by company policy. Reasonable accommodations may be available to enable individuals with disabilities but are always subject to safety concerns for the employee and all team members.  Employer may require a physical assessment of the candidate’s ability to perform these tasks as a condition of an offer letter.  Any assessment will be performed by a third party vendor and will be reported on a pass/fail basis with no other medical information conveyed to employer.
