Your mission – As a Compliance Analyst, your key focus will be to ensure the company's compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly in the areas of KYC, AML, and CTF, by conducting thorough due diligence and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the corporate customers onboarding and ongoing due diligence process.
- Conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD) by collecting documents, evaluating SOF/SOW, and looking for external information.
- Review registries, business databases, and documentation provided by the corporate customer, including operating various third-party and in-house tools for background checks.
- Perform ownership structure analysis, assess client risk, and document the findings.
- Perform Sanction/PEP/ADV media screenings.
- Identify potential AML and CTF related risks of the customer.
- Participate in proposing mitigation actions and recommendations to mitigate risk.
- Ensure constant compliance of KYC, AML, and CTF program, processes, and instructions of the Company.
- Involvement in review/update of KYC policies and procedures for corporate clients, providing feedback in case any need for adjustment is noticed.
- Ensure sufficient performance based on KPIs and SLAs set for covered functions.
- Assist with internal and external audits upon request.
- Stay proactive in knowing legislation changes, regulatory recommendations, and industry best practices on AML/CTF, KYC, Client onboarding, PEP, and sanction screening.
- Undertake any other duties as determined by the direct manager or the higher management line/body of the Company.
Requirements
- At least 2 year experience in KYC/KYB within a financial sector
- Strong understanding of Lithuanian AML Law/Regulations
- 2 years experience of on-boarding customers (preferably high risk customers)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA) are a plus
