JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

The Compensation Analyst provides market research, data analysis, and industry trends to assist in ensuring our compensation strategies attract, retain, and motivate associates while aligning with the organization's overall goals, industry standards, and legal and regulatory requirements. This role will provide critical insights and support the overall delivery of compensation programs across the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather and analyze data on compensation trends, market rates, and industry best practices to support the effective analysis of the competitiveness of our compensation programs.
  • Provide data-drive recommendations on the effectiveness of our compensation program to attract and retain top talent.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on compensation trends, analysis, and recommendations for HR Business Partners and/or senior management.
  • Develop and maintain standardized compensation metrics and dashboards to assist with business needs.
  • Assist Compensation Partner(s) with completion of job evaluations through ensuring accurate job descriptions, competitive market-based valuations, and appropriate administration of job architecture and compensation structure.
  • Responsible for execution annual market analysis reporting and analytics for associate and organization level modeling and submissions in accordance with third-party instructions in coordination with Compensation Partner(s) and Director of Total Rewards.
  • Assist Total Rewards team with requests and questions for reporting and data visualization related to compensation. May support the development and monitoring of annual compensation budgets and forecasts and other compensation programs or initiatives through modeling and analysis as requested.
  • Execute data governance and integrity procedures and recommend changes as necessary to ensure complete and accurate data.
  • Identify opportunities or needs for guidance and training on compensation-related topics through gap and/or trend analysis.
  • Support other Total Rewards initiatives, projects, or procedures as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field or equivalent combination of working experience and/or training.
  • 2 years of compensation or financial analysis experience or similar role or advanced degree in related field.
  • General knowledge of compensation practices, salary structures, job evaluation methodologies, and regulatory requirements in financial services industry preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in using compensation software, data analysis tools, HRIS systems, and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
