Expert Lead Communications

Expected salary: 17 300 – 27 150 PLN gross.

We are looking for you, if you:

  • have at least 8 years of experience in communications, including developing and executing internal and external communication strategies in large organizations,

  • have experience in change communications, organisational transformation, and employee engagement,

  • are able to act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and support them with strategic communications and thought leadership,

  • possess strong expertise in employer branding, reputation management, crisis communications, and media relations,

  • have experience in managing internal and external communications tools such as SharePoint, Viva Engage, Spotler, and LinkedIn,

  • have experience leading communications teams,

  • combine a strategic mindset with hands-on execution capabilities,

  • are proactive, resilient, and focused on delivering business value through communication.

Polish: Fluent (C2/native level), English: Advanced (C1)

  • experience working in an international organization with multiple stakeholders.

Your responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the communication strategy for ING Hubs Poland, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global ING Group communication standards,

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on internal and external communication, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement,

  • Develop and implement crisis communications and issue management plans in needed,

  • Lead the Communications Team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement,

  • Design and deliver impactful communication campaigns that strengthen employee engagement, support business transformation, and enhance organizational reputation,

  • Oversee external communications, including media relations, social media and events etc.,

  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring consistent and effective communication across all channels,

  • Support senior executives with strategic messaging, leadership communications and speaking engagements,

  • Contribute to and support ING Group communications initiatives, campaigns and strategic priorities,

  • Represent ING Hubs Poland within global communications network, sharing best practices and ensuring alignment across locations and functions,

  • Monitor and measure communication effectiveness,

  • implement new communication tools and formats, including the use of AI, to improve reach and engagement.

The Communications Team at ING Hubs Poland plays a strategic role in supporting business objectives, organizational culture, and reputation. We partner with senior leaders and other stakeholders in Poland and across ING globally to shape narratives, drive employee engagement, support transformation initiatives, and strengthen our positioning both internally and externally.

As the Expert Lead, you will lead a team of communication professionals and have a direct impact on how ING Hubs is perceived by employees, candidates, business partners, and the market. You will also be part of the global communications team.

Skills Required

  • At least 8 years of communications experience
  • Experience developing and executing internal and external communication strategies in large organizations
  • Experience with change communications, organizational transformation, and employee engagement
  • Ability to advise senior leaders on strategic communications and thought leadership
  • Expertise in employer branding, reputation management, crisis communications, and media relations

  • Experience leading communications teams
  • Fluent Polish at C2 or native level
