The Communications Manager (PayDoc) is responsible for collaboration and communication between teams and serves as the main point of contact between program leaders and Corporate Communications. This role plays an active role in developing and implementing strategic communication programs, campaigns and tactics that support Healthfirst’s mission-driven business and employee culture.
- Develops and implements comprehensive internal communication plans aligned with strategic priorities
- Designs and presents content to effectively communicate key messages to varying audiences across the organization, including Executive presentations, team town halls, corporate emails, intranet posts, and other forms of engagement.
- Creates, manages, and executes content to ensure timely delivery of key messages
- Partners with internal stakeholders to highlight successes and provide updates on ongoing and upcoming projects and initiatives.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to support internal initiatives and creates clear, consistent messaging to help employees understand the rationale behind changes and their implications.
- Provides editorial review for internal stories, articles, and communication materials
- Manages communications data, analyzes performance metrics, and implements improvements based upon data insights.
- Ensures that all employee communications are consistent with our brand messaging and program content.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- 4+ years of related experience in employee communications role
- Prior experience creating and managing content with strong project management skills
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Prior experience presenting to various audiences, including large teams, stakeholders, and executives.
- Ability to create clear, engaging, and targeted messaging for multiple stakeholder groups.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and interact with a cross-section of stakeholders and all levels of management across an organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience driving communication strategies in a health care setting, preferably in a health plan.
- Experience using metrics to gauge employee engagement and effectiveness of communications
- Advanced Microsoft Office 365, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite)
- Experience in project and program management

Hiring Range*:

Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $100,900 - $145,775

All Other Locations (within approved locations): $86,500 - $128,690
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
