Job Description

The Communication Lead plays a key coordination role across brand communications, PR, content development, media initiatives and corporate events, ensuring consistent execution and follow-up across all communication touchpoints.

The role requires a proactive, organised and autonomous profile, able to manage tasks independently, anticipate needs and make recommendations within agreed priorities and communication guidelines.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

1. Communications, Campaigns & Media

  • Coordinate the execution of the communication plan to support the company’s brand and communication goals, within designated budgets and agreed priorities.
  • Coordinate the execution and follow-up of media campaigns in line with approved media plans.
  • Contribute to the implementation of communication initiatives across relevant channels and audiences.
  • Draft internal communications when required.
  • Coordinate joint advertising opportunities and trade exchanges to support brand visibility in key markets.
  • Monitor communication budgets, costs and follow-up related to planned activities.
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitor strategies, and relevant industry news to support communication planning.
  • Provide insights, ideas, and recommendations to enhance communication strategies and campaign performance.

2. Public Relations

  • Coordinate the implementation of PR campaigns and strategies in collaboration with dedicated PR agencies and representatives.
  • Coordinate press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials, including copywriting, proofreading, and translation follow-up when required.
  • Coordinate media visits, press trips, press events, and launches, ensuring smooth organisation and follow-up.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with media, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor media coverage, compile PR reports, and share relevant insights on visibility, performance, and media trends.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of communication and PR initiatives, sharing relevant learnings and recommendations.

3. Brand Content

  • Ensure brand consistency across communication materials, in line with brand guidelines, tone of voice and visual identity.
  • Coordinate the development and update of communication materials such as brochures, newsletters, presentations, press kits and other brand content.
  • Coordinate the preparation, production and follow-up of photo and video shoots.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy and brand alignment.

4. Corporate Events Management

  • Coordinate the execution of corporate events, ensuring alignment with the brand image and communication objectives.
  • Liaise with suppliers, journalists, partners and internal teams to ensure smooth event preparation and operations.
  • Prepare post-event evaluations to measure results and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure timely coordination, documentation and follow-up of event-related actions.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills in English and French.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive, autonomous and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and follow through.
  • Collaborative team player, able to work effectively with different departments and contribute positively to team dynamics.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, agencies, suppliers, media and partners.

PROFILE:

  • Diploma in Marketing/communication
  • 6 to 10 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a communications role.
  • Excellent French / English (oral & written)
  • Good presentation 
  • Driving license
  • Attention to details - precision
  • Outgoing & dynamic
  • Pro-active
