Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior Data and AI Engineer to join our technology team. This role is designed for a recent university graduate who is eager to build a career in data engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud-based analytics.
As a Data and AI Engineer, you will support the design, development and deployment of data-driven solutions that help organizations make better decisions, automate processes, and create intelligent digital products. You will work with experienced engineers and business teams to learn industry best practices while contributing to real projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform data
- Support development of data pipelines, dashboards, and AI/ML models
- Work with cloud platforms, databases, and data tools
- Write clean, maintainable code
- Assist in testing, debugging, and optimization
- Apply basic data privacy and responsible AI principles \

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field
- Basic programming in Python, SQL (or similar)
- Understanding of data structures and basic ML concepts
- Interest in cloud and data technologies
- Strong analytical and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in AI/data engineering
Preferred Experience
- Projects, hackathons or coursework involving data, AI, analytics or software development.
- Exposure to tools such as Git, Jupyter Notebooks, Power BI, Tableau, Java, Spark, Databricks, TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit-learn would be a plus.
- Basic understanding of data visualization, ETL/ELT processes and model evaluation.
- Interest in Gen AI, LLM, responsible AI or intelligent automation.
