The Commercial Marketing Lead for Japan & Korea will lead the commercial marketing team to develop and execute our provider channel marketing strategies across our Japan and Korea business.

Work hand in hand with their Consumer Marketing counterpart to ensure we deliver a cohesive consumer experience whether they choose to interact with ResMed via our owned or provider channels.

Reporting to the Senior Director Commercial Marketing APAC

This role is pivotal in aligning regional marketing efforts with global objectives to ensure consistent delivery of brand messaging and maximum market penetration for identified initiatives. 

The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, across the Marketing org, as well as Product, Revenue, and Operations departments, to optimize marketing performance and consumer satisfaction, ultimately delivering key contributions to ResMed’s overall performance and attainment of its 2030 strategic objectives.

Let’s talk about Responsibilities

  • Regional commercial marketing leader, taking our global audience strategies and adapting them to execute for Japan & Korea, sharing best practice and learnings with other APAC regional marketing leads

  • Collaborate with regional commercial marketing leaders to shape and execute initiatives for the APAC region - establishing consistent frameworks and playbooks to capture common opportunities and solve for common challenges across APAC

  • Be the strategic marketing partner to our Japan & Korea revenue leaders – Drive our provider marketing thought leadership, develop our provider channel marketing strategies and execute initiatives driving value and growth of our business

  • Partner with solutions marketing and Product and Revenue teams to shape portfolio go-to-market strategy and ‘last-mile’ marketing execution

  • Lead Japan & Korea commercial marketing team to build and execute provider channel marketing plan

  • Leverage deep customer insights and segmentation to drive ResMed value offering to distributor partners

  • Lead the Japan & Korea commercial marketing team to implement campaigns, promotions, and initiatives alongside our sales and operations teams

  • Drive discipline in capturing campaign performance and marketing effectiveness measures, and communicating these with key stakeholders across the business

  • Partner with sales leaders and sales operations to develop marketing collateral and tools driving successful customer interactions

  • In collaboration with consumer marketing and CMG revenue teams, support in building truly omnichannel experience across owned and distributor channels touchpoints for our consumers

  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, KOLs, industry influencers, and partner organizations, to drive further awareness and access to care, and enhance the ResMed brand visibility and authority 

  • Lead our presence at key industry events, trade shows, and conferences in collaboration with key stakeholders

  • Build and manage the provider channel marketing budget for Japan & Korea, ensuring marketing initiatives are effectively prioritised and delivered on time and on budget

  • Stay abreast of changes and trends in regulatory, government, reimbursement, customer and competitive environment influencing the market, to ensure compliance and maintain the company’s competitive edge

  • Nurture and develop a high performing team, enabling all team members to reach their full potential

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that establish ResMed as the supplier of choice to our provider partners and drives consumer demand across Japan & Korea
  • Lead the Japan & Korea commercial marketing team, setting clear objectives, managing performance, and developing talent to ensure a high-performing marketing function
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources to maximize ROI and achieve sales targets
  • A key member of the APAC Commercial Marketing leadership team, be the voice of Japan & Korea provider channel to the team, and support in solving challenges across the region for the betterment of ResMed’s performance overall
