Job Description
Sodexo is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our professional and passionate team on a permanent, full time basis, based in our Brisbane Support Centre.
The Commercial Manager is responsible for the commercial management and governance in compliance of our key client contracts. They are heavily involved in implementing contracting strategies, ensuring compliance with levels of service, and managing our key client contracts in the long term.
You will establish strong relationships with our clients and partner with key stakeholders in contract/ commercial projects aimed at embedding the customer centric culture by identifying opportunities and continuous improvement projects. A key aspect of the role will be monitoring and developing contract variations and monitoring and driving improved financial performance.
Qualifications
To be successful, you’ll need:
Tertiary qualified in Commerce or have similar qualification / background and able to demonstrate:
- Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and administration with a sound understanding of general forms of contract including Australian standards
- Strong analytic, commercial, and modelling skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability in meeting deadlines and establishing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- At least 3 years’ experience within the resources sector
- Availability to travel to remote locations to conduct commercial reviews & provide training to on-site managers.
