Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Marketing Assistant to join our growing team in Syracuse, NY!
Under direct supervision, the Marketing Assistant will assist the marketing, sales and/or service team(s) with new business and renewal marketing, including related activities of the commercial lines department in accordance with goals and objectives of the agency and established policies and procedures.
How You Will Contribute:
Assist in obtaining client information necessary for new or renewal marketing and track submissions to the marketplace.
Rate new policies and complete applications and other required documentation.
Prepare proposals and coordinate the layout of the proposal and presentation with producers/service representatives.
Document all marketing activity in the agency management system AMS360 & ImageRight.
Adherence to the established marketing guidelines set by Marketing Leader.
Prepare invoices, applications and other required documentation to bind accounts.
Transition bound accounts to the assigned Service Representative and Department Leader with appropriate communication with Marketing Leader.
Ensure that systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations are adhered to by the department and alert management should any problems arise.
Maintain an up-to-date marketing summary for marketers.
Top Gun data entry and reporting.
Licenses & Certifications:
Property & Casualty Agent’s License, or willing to obtain.
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in software programs including Microsoft Office Suite, and carrier/company specific applications.
Working technical knowledge of coverage in commercial lines insurance coverage (preferred)
Pay Range
$24.04 - $36.06 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
