About The Role

 

HUB continues to grow and seeking a dynamic Commercial Lines Account Manager for our Leamington Office. This is an ideal role for a strong team player who is detailed oriented, enjoys working with people and a commitment to deliver results on required deadlines.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Meeting existing clients’ needs, including quotations, premium adjustments, endorsements

  • Client enquiries, taking claims and handling renewals

  • Prepare and monitor insurance submissions, proposals, and summaries of insurance

  • Monitor the processing of binders, certificates and billings

  • Take client calls and answer questions regarding coverages, accept and process online quotes,

  • Act as one of the primary points of contact on accounts; responsible for maintaining key client and insurer relationships

  • Negotiate with insurers on coverage and price so as to best meet the needs of the client in conjunction with the producer

  • Collect premiums from clients in a timeline pursuant to HUB standards

  • Utilizing third party systems for policy issuance

  • Advocate for clients during claims process

  • Other related duties as may be required  from time to time


 

Qualifications and expertise that pave the way for Success

 

  • Typically, 4+ years of Commercial Insurance in the Construction Industry

  • RIBO (Ontario Broker’s license) is required; CAIB, CIP preferred is an asset

  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.

  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to deliver positive customer experiences

  • Self-starter and strong team player able to work within Production and Service teams

  • Effective organizational skills and time management

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel).

  • Ability to learn and understand new systems quickly; EPIC fluency is an asset.

The expected base salary for this position is $60,000 to $70,000.The total compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses for some positions.
