  • Education & Career Aspirations: You are currently pursuing or have recently (within the past year) completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in sustainability, business, or a related field, and are eager to develop your skills in sales and commercial areas.

  • Commercial Awareness: You possess a solid understanding of commercial dynamics, including contracts, business cases, event management, and corporate decision-making processes.

  • Climate Action & Sustainability: You have a strong interest in climate action and sustainability, ideally complemented by prior exposure to carbon markets or related initiatives.

  • Technical Proficiency: You are tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools, and you demonstrate strong presentation skills.

  • Analytical Skills: You are analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

What we offer:

At Climeworks, our six-month internships offer a hybrid work setup, giving you flexibility while ensuring valuable collaboration by working onsite at least three days per week. To maintain fairness, we follow a standardized salary process based on market benchmarks. For our internships based in Switzerland, the compensation is:

  • During BSc & MSc: CHF 2,000 per month

  • After completion of MSc: CHF 2,500 per month

Skills Required

  • Currently pursuing or recently (within past year) completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, business, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with CRM tools and maintaining CRM data
  • Experience or familiarity with ERP systems and order/pipeline data
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills, able to translate complex data into insights
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Commercial awareness of contracts, business cases, event management, and corporate decision-making
  • Interest in climate action and sustainability (prior exposure to carbon markets is a plus)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment; self-motivated and solution-oriented mindset
  • Presentation skills and ability to prepare high-quality materials for senior stakeholder engagements
  • Proficiency in additional languages (German or others)
