Job Description
Hibob is looking to add a new team member to our legal department as a key member of our legal team,
with the opportunity to shape processes, influence strategy, and grow alongside a rapidly scaling
company.
If you are a highly motivated, organized, proactive, independent, self-starter who enjoys working in a
dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative environment, Hibob is where you want to be! We view the ideal
candidate as one who has excellent business acumen and experience running commercial agreements
from start to finish. In this challenging position, you will partner with internal stakeholders (GTM,
Customer Success, Procurement, Marketing, Dev and Security) in managing, negotiating and executing
commercial transactions, as well as providing ongoing legal advice.
In addition, you will provide guidance, support and leadership to cross-functional teams worldwide about
various legal and regulatory matters such as data privacy and security issues.
Job Requirements
What should you bring to the table?• Law degree from a top university;• 3-5 years of relevant legal experience as an in-house lawyer in a legal department of a high-tech
company or in the commercial/high-tech department of a major law firm;• Excellent negotiation, drafting and analytical skills, and extensive commercial transactions
experience;• Prior experience working with large multi-national customers and partners;• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple matters and conflicting priorities, while
balancing legal and business concerns;• Experience in technology related agreements and SaaS, especially dealing with sales transactions
- Required;• English mother tongue level - Required;• Experience with data privacy and security issues in the technology space (CCPA, GDPR, etc.) -
Required.• Exceptionally strong communication and interpersonal skills - Required.• Ability to work flexible hours and days;• Ability to work effectively remotely.
Job Responsibilities
What will you actually be doing?• Become an integral member of our growing legal team.• Work directly with Hibob's GTM organization to negotiate and finalize commercial agreements
(including data processing agreements);• Work directly with Hibob's internal departments to negotiate and finalize procurement
agreements;• Remain updated on applicable laws and regulations surrounding IP, privacy, and security;• Support and advise on a wide variety of general legal matters throughout the different
departments in the company.
