We’re looking to add an experienced, driven, and ambitious Channel Account Executive (CAE) to drive the strategy and acceleration of Wasabi's business in the region. The CAE is responsible for executing Wasabi’s go-to-market model and driving a preference for Wasabi in enterprise customers, leveraging channel partners to reach more customers and grow Wasabi’s market share
As part of Wasabi’s Sales team in ASEAN, you’ll work remotely to prospect, onboard, and activate new customers. In collaboration with our partners, you’ll identify high-potential enterprise end users, integrate Wasabi into their sales and marketing efforts, and promote our value proposition. Your strategic selling skills will be key to driving adoption and helping partners close end-user business with Wasabi.
This role will report to the Country Manager, ASEAN.
Strategic Focus Areas:
- Identify and develop high-potential end-user accounts across ASEAN, in partnership with existing white-glove partners to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with Dell’s sales and marketing teams to uncover and advance new project opportunities aligned with joint go-to-market plans.
- Build pipeline and engagement in key verticals including Education, Retail, Manufacturing, and Healthcare.
Key Activities:
- Sell Wasabi hot cloud storage solutions to new and existing clients across the region.
- Accelerate growth by collaborating with channel partners and technology alliances.
- Align with marketing strategies to boost brand awareness, generate leads, and increase revenue.
- Lead discovery and technical meetings to understand customer needs and communicate the value of Wasabi’s cloud solution.
- Build trust with end users by providing consultative guidance tailored to their storage requirements.
- Drive trials, POCs, and customer conversions by identifying ideal use cases and aligning internal resources.
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Sales Ops to ensure seamless execution and positive customer experience.
- Leverage CRM and marketing automation tools to identify prospects, manage pipeline, and maintain accurate forecasts.
- 5 - 10 years of technology sales experience in a vendor or channel environment; experience in storage is a plus.
- Previous experience collaborating with or selling alongside Dell and its partner ecosystem will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to build pipelines, manage funnels, and consistently meet or exceed quota.
- Strong planning, goal setting, and follow-up discipline.
- Self-starter with a passion for achieving results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Open to coaching and feedback, with a growth mindset.
- Collaborative team player who contributes ideas and supports collective success.
