We’re seeking an experienced, driven, and ambitious Commercial Account Executive (CAE) to accelerate Wasabi's growth and strengthen our footprint across the region. In this role, you'll execute Wasabi’s go-to-market strategy and drive preference for our hot cloud storage solutions among enterprise customers, working closely with channel partners to expand reach and increase market share.
As a key member of Wasabi’s ASEAN Sales team, you’ll operate in a remote capacity to prospect, onboard, and activate new customers. Together with our partners, you’ll identify high-potential enterprise end users, integrate Wasabi into their sales and marketing motions, and champion our value proposition. Your strategic selling capabilities and deep channel engagement will be essential in driving adoption and enabling partners to successfully close end-user opportunities with Wasabi.
This role will report to the Country Manager, ASEAN.
Strategic Focus Areas:
- Identify and develop high-potential end-user accounts across ASEAN, in partnership with existing white-glove channel partners to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Collaborate with Dell’s sales and marketing teams to uncover, qualify and advance new project opportunities aligned with joint go-to-market plans.
- Build a strong pipeline and deepen market engagement across key verticals including Education, Retail, Manufacturing, and Healthcare.
Key Activities:
- Drive new business by selling Wasabi's hot cloud storage solutions to new and existing clients across the region
- Accelerate growth and expand market reach by collaborating with channel partners and technology alliances
- Align with marketing to support brand-building initiatives, generate leads, and increase overall pipeline velocity and revenue
- Lead discovery sessions, technical discussions and customer meetings to understand requirements and communicate the value of Wasabi’s cloud storage solutions
- Build trusted relationships with end users by providing consultative guidance tailored to their storage needs
- Drive trials, POCs, and customer conversions by identifying ideal use cases and coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful outcomes
- Partner with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Sales Operations to ensure smooth execution and positive customer experience
- Utilize CRM and marketing automation tools to identify prospects, manage pipeline, track activities and maintain accurate forecasts
- 5 - 10 years of technology sales experience within a vendor or channel-driven environment; experience in the storage industry is a plus
- Prior experience collaborating with or selling alongside Dell and its partner ecosystem is highly advantageous
- Proven ability to build pipelines, manage funnels, and consistently meet or exceed quota
- Strong discipline around planning, goal setting, forecasting and follow-up
- Self-starter with a passion for achieving results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Open to coaching and feedback, with a commitment to continuous improvement
- A collaborative team player who contributes ideas and supports collective success
