Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma required, college education preferred
- Customer service or office experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office; MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently
Responsibilities will include:
- Investigating customer discrepancies and working with various contacts to resolve the issues
- Telephone, email, and in person communication with various levels of internal employees from our field offices to executive management
- Understanding and analyzing shipping documents
- Research and problem resolution of customer invoice issues
- Learning and understanding industry requirements and changes
- Interaction with the customer via phone calls, email, web portals, and EDI connections
Nice to Have:
- 3-5 years of relevant office experience we prefer corporate collections if possible.
- Can work independently
- Likes problem solving and digging into issues and fixing the route cause
- Personable-more customer service then aggressive collections
- Comfortable interactive with executives of the company.
- Efficient in Microsoft excel
