What You'll Do:
The primary responsibility of the Collections Manager is to manage the entire collections process for all customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, effectively reducing outstanding AR, mentor the collections team, and enhance collection strategies. As well as other duties assigned.
This position reports to the Accounts Receivable Director of SAMBA Holdings, Inc., or to other supervisors as assigned.
To be successful in this position the candidate will perform the essential job duties below with minimal supervision.
- Overseeing Collections: Managing the day-to-day operations of the collections department, including monitoring collection progress, reduce overall outstanding AR, ensuring timely follow-up on overdue accounts.
- Team Leadership: Mentoring, training, and supervising collections staff ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Collection Inquiries: Mange AR Clerk as they navigate all the collection/billing inquiries
- Dispute Resolution: Handling escalated collection cases and customer inquiries
- Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as Customer Succes, Sales, and Onboarding to resolve complex collections issues.
- Collections: Collect on a small subset of White Glove customers
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Collections
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Management Position
- Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, and critical thinking
- Must have a team player mindset with adaptability to monitor own work
- SaaS experience preferred
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Strong experience overseeing collections and credit functions
- Proven experience at successfully developing & strengthening management controls and operational processes.
- Strong process management skills
- Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results
- Results-oriented to ensure delivery of operational and financial objectives
- Hands-on leader
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with intermediate/advanced Excel skills
