We are looking for a CNC Programmer at our Eagle, WI facility!
The Programmer is responsible for the creation and maintenance of programs for turret punch, laser cutting machines, and dimension flats.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain programs for each piece of blanking and welding equipment.
Maintains and/or changes the floor routings and BOMs required for processing the parts through the sheet metal department.
Resolve programming issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
H. S. Diploma
Must be at least 18 years old to work in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical School/Associate Degree
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints
Ability to interact effectively with both production and engineering employees
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and PDM/ERP systems (AS/400, iSeries, MAPICS)
Demonstrated knowledge of creating AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ProE
Proficient in SigmaNest, Striker, and G-code/M-code
Demonstrated knowledge of fabrication sheet metal processes including punch press, brake press, laser, and CNC)
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
