About the RoleThe CNC Machinist is responsible for the daily operation of the machines in their area and the quality of the machined products. You will be a resource for our quality team while staying aligned with our core values: Great People, Going Beyond, and Growing.
What You'll Do

  • Independently set up and operate machines for all jobs, ensuring adherence to company quality standards and production efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot production issues with support from Supervisors and Engineers to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Conducted in-process inspections of machined products, documenting results to ensure products met specifications.
  • Assist Machinists in diagnosing and resolving technical issues that arise during machining operations, leveraging analytical problem-solving to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, upholding a proactive safety culture by identifying and addressing potential hazards.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Two-year certificate in machine trades preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in CNC machining-Milling

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to express ideas, share information, listen actively, and demonstrate professionalism in written and verbal communication.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, use simple math to perform basic calculations, and use hand-held measuring tools.
  • Proficient knowledge of GD&T.
  • Subject matter expert and “go-to” in assigned machining area, collaborating with other Senior Machinists and Supervisors
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Advanced knowledge of reading G-code and M-code.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to pass annual vision screening.
