We are hiring an experienced Cloud Software Developer to join a strong team in a highly dynamic environment, focusing on AlgoSec's SaaS product.
Reporting to: R&D Team Lead
Location: Petah Tikva, Israel
Direct employment
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop our SaaS-based application in Python.
- Actively lead the availability, resilience, and scalability of our solutions by utilizing AWS cloud services
- Collaborate with other engineering teams on integrations
- Assume responsibility for all stages of the product, from concept, design and implementation, to production and deployment.
- Assisting other developers with troubleshooting/coding/debugging.
Requirements
Requirements:
- BSc. in Computer Science/ Engineering.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Software Development, including experience with Python.
- Experience with building cloud-native applications, including designing scalable, reliable, and efficient cloud solutions.
- Experience with microservices architecture, including serverless and event-driven designs.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL DBs.
- Solid understanding of web development fundamentals.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, performance, and code documentation.
- "Can do" attitude.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Fast learner, assumes ownership, independent and organized.
Advantages:
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Angular
- Deep networking and security knowledge
- Experienced with event streaming systems like Apache Kafka
- Experience working with Kubernetes architecture
- Experiencing with Infrastructure as a code (CloudFormation, Serverless Framework, Terraform etc.).
- Deep cloud security knowledge.
