About the Role
Responsible for the day‑to‑day operational management of cloud‑hosted platforms supporting various database technologies, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and recoverability. Delivers end‑to‑end operational support across cloud environments, including monitoring, incident response, backup and recovery, patching, and capacity management, to meet agreed service levels for internal users and applications.- Provide technical expertise in the operational management of cloud‑based platforms supporting various database technologies, ensuring availability, performance, security, and compliance with enterprise standards
- Configure, deploy, maintain, patch, and upgrade various database technologies and related cloud infrastructure components, including database engines, storage, and supporting services
- Administer database platforms and underlying operating systems for various database technologies, including monitoring, backup and recovery, replication, capacity planning, and performance tuning
- Provide on‑call, on‑site, and remote operational support for various database technologies, responding to incidents, service requests, and issues affecting AIA’s internal applications and users
