Meet the Team
You will join the Cloud Cost & Availability delivery team based in Bratislava. The team collaborates closely with cloud engineering, analytics, finance controlling and business stakeholders. We promote a data-driven culture focused on transparency, ownership, and continuous optimization. Team members are encouraged to bring new ideas, improve processes, and help shape ESET’s Cloud FinOps practice.
About the Role
Own and continuously improve cloud cost and usage monitoring processes.
Analyze cloud cost and consumption data and provide actionable reporting to stakeholders.
Manage cloud cost monitoring, automation, governance, and optimization activities.
Drive Cloud FinOps best practices and financial accountability across cloud consumers.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for cloud services.
Monitor cloud spending trends, budget consumption, and cost-related risks.
Define, maintain, and report cloud financial KPIs.
Identify and implement cloud cost optimization opportunities across Azure, AWS, and other cloud platforms.
Present financial insights and recommendations to business and executive stakeholders.
Support vendor management and cloud commercial optimization activities.
Essential Requirements
University education.
At least 3 years of experience in business, financial, or cloud cost analysis.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure/AWS and cloud cost management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Experience preparing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
English language proficiency at minimum B2 level.
You should be comfortable communicating professionally in either Slovak or Czech.
Desirable Requirements
Knowledge of Azure/AWS Billing and Cost Management.
Experience with Azure/AWS Billing APIs.
Knowledge of Atlassian Confluence and Jira, including automation.
Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions.
Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
Understanding of FinOps frameworks, governance, and cloud financial management best practices.
Additional Information:
Individual contributor role within the Consumer & IoT Cloud Solutions, focused on providing deep domain expertise, supporting strategic initiatives, business and technical objectives. The role does not include direct people management responsibilities and emphasizes individual impact, cross-functional collaboration and delivering results through expertise and influence.

Náplň práce
Zodpovednosť za monitorovanie cloudových nákladov a využívania cloudových služieb vrátane neustáleho zlepšovania súvisiacich procesov.
Analýza dát o nákladoch a spotrebe cloudových služieb a príprava odporúčaní pre zainteresované strany.
Správa oblastí súvisiacich s monitorovaním nákladov, automatizáciou, governance a optimalizáciou cloudového prostredia.
Presadzovanie princípov Cloud FinOps a finančnej zodpovednosti naprieč používateľmi cloudových služieb.
Podpora pri tvorbe rozpočtov, forecastov a finančnom plánovaní cloudových služieb.
Sledovanie trendov vo výdavkoch na cloud, čerpania rozpočtov a potenciálnych finančných rizík.
Definovanie, vyhodnocovanie a reporting finančných KPI v oblasti cloudových služieb.
Identifikácia a implementácia príležitostí na optimalizáciu nákladov v prostrediach Azure, AWS a ďalších cloudových platformách.
Prezentácia finančných analýz, zistení a odporúčaní manažmentu a ďalším stakeholderom.
Podpora vendor managementu a aktivít zameraných na optimalizáciu komerčných podmienok cloudových služieb.
Požiadavky
Vysokoškolské vzdelanie.
Minimálne 3 roky skúseností v oblasti biznis analýzy, finančnej analýzy alebo analýzy cloudových nákladov.
Skúsenosti s cloudovými platformami, ideálne Azure alebo AWS, a s riadením cloudových nákladov.
Silné analytické myslenie a schopnosť efektívne riešiť problémy.
Pokročilá znalosť Microsoft Excel.
Skúsenosti s Microsoft Power BI.
Schopnosť komunikovať s technickými aj obchodnými partnermi.
Skúsenosti s tvorbou reportov, dashboardov a dátových vizualizácií.
Angličtina minimálne na úrovni B2.
Profesionálna komunikácia v slovenskom alebo českom jazyku.

Dôraz sa kladie na individuálny prínos, spoluprácu naprieč tímami a dosahovanie výsledkov prostredníctvom odbornosti a schopnosti ovplyvňovať rozhodnutia.

Mzdové podmienky
Základná mzda: od 3 000 EUR brutto mesačne
Finálna výška mzdy bude závisieť od vašich skúseností, odborných znalostí a zručností.
Súčasťou odmeňovania je aj výkonnostný bonus vyplácaný dvakrát ročne, a to až do výšky 10 % základnej mzdy za hodnotené obdobie (spravidla 6 mesiacov).
