As an Application Engineer, you will work with modern cloud technologies, solve complex problems, and contribute directly to national security. Responsibilities
Deliver, configure, and sustain secure hosting environments within commercial cloud platforms to support NSA missions.
Engineer, install, integrate, operate, secure, test, and maintain cloud service provider solutions across the enterprise.
Provide end-to-end support across network fabrics, including cloud operations, customer help desk assistance, software migration and integration, testing, documentation, security, monitoring, and release/configuration management.
Provision, operate, and support network infrastructures in environments leveraging PKI, IPSEC, SDN, and VPN technologies.
Develop and manage networks designed for secure, highly available operations.
Evaluate, integrate, and implement emerging cybersecurity tools and technologies such as DNS services, routing solutions, load balancers, data flow systems, auditing tools, HIDS/NIDS, antivirus technologies, and more.

Required:
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree:
Education/Experience substitutions: All education and experience must be in a technical field relevant to the role, and all degrees or certificates must be from accredited institutions.
High School Diploma/GED: 12+ years of relevant experience
Associate’s Degree: 10+ years of relevant experience
Master’s Degree: 6+ years of relevant experience
Doctorate: 4+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Python
Hands-on experience with AWS
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Desired:
Experience with Azure
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
