We are looking for our future Clinical Support Specialist to support our Joint Replacement in Bloemfontein.
This role focuses on servicing and supporting clinical customers to strive for best-in-class specialist support with procedural excellence.
What you will do:
- Service existing and new customers within the theatre and clinical environment.
Provide theatre and wider HCP staff with in-depth training on Stryker products. - Work closely with regional team members and the Regional Sales Manager to ensure best-in-class customer service levels.
Audit theatre Stryker stock, including implants, disposables and instruments; manage consignment inventory and ensure good asset management practices. - Understand the clinical application of the broader Stryker portfolio to offer customers the best possible solution at all times.
Conduct trials and evaluations of products in theatre and clinical environments as required.
Support the implementation of training, provision of instruments and implementation of new Stryker business. - Plan, execute and monitor measures required to deliver industry-leading support and customer care for physicians, surgical theatre staff, hospital administration and sterilisation departments.
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and professionalism during workshops, product demonstrations and customer interactions.
- Communicate essential product features, benefits and clinical applications clearly and effectively.
- Maintain high ethical standards, treat customers and employees with respect, and represent Stryker professionally at all times.
- Make observations of customer needs and liaise with sales colleagues to introduce additional Stryker products or support where appropriate.
- Maintain a basic business plan highlighting daily, weekly and monthly objectives.
- Develop an understanding of the local healthcare environment and regional strategy.
What you need:
Required:
- Technikon/university qualification within the medical field or Biokinetics, Sports Science, BSC Anatomy/ physiology
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a theatre environment.
- Experience in the Orthopaedics field (Joint replacement, Trauma, Extremities, SportsMed, etc.)
- Commercial knowledge and understanding of cost pressures surrounding theatres and surgical procedures.
- Presentation skills using modern presentation media.
- Workshop and product demonstration skills, including anatomy and physiology knowledge.
- Driver’s License
Preferred:
- Experience in Joint replacement would be a strong plus
Travel Percentage: 80%
