The Clinical Sales Representative is responsible for fostering and developing strategic relationships with a variety of clinical leaders in targeted hospitals and other healthcare markets, and to manage all Accounts (Hospitals and Private Clinics) in her/his territory. Responsible for Sales in the Region and for the clinical targets with the support of the clinical specialist of the region, plus responsible for Clinical Evaluation and Research Support, you will be a proactive member of a dynamic team and enjoy securing new business and developing and increasing clinical sales in your territory.

 

This position reports to the Country Manager, Brazil and is part of the Sales Team located in São Paulo and working remotely to cover São Paulo territory.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Responsible for sales of all Masimo products in assigned territory
  • Plan and execute strategies to convert accounts (single departments and/or the whole hospital) to the use of Masimo products in an high-competitive market
  • Engage in selling of accounts, including qualification, demonstration and closure of competitive and exclusive products, positioning Masimo’s technology as the new standard of care in pulse-oximetry and other noninvasive blood parameters’ monitoring systems.
  • Partner with appropriate Distributors and OEM sales personnel in planning and executing sales strategies to convert accounts
  • Provide information to upper management including market trends, competitive activity, product design needs, regulatory, and production requirements

 

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Proven track record of selling both disposable products and capital equipment to hospitals and the ability to communicate value based solutions.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and good level of English.
  • Experience working with Distributors and OEM sales personnel.
  • Direct selling experience in high-competitive markets.
  • Five or more years of Medical Device Sales experience. Patient Monitoring systems highly advantageous.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time, with overnight stays as required, within the assigned territory.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with an exceptional ability to lead group presentations
  • Must be PC literate, have excellent organizational, communication, writing, and project management skills.
  • Experience calling on physicians and hospital administrators (bio-medical engineers, purchasing managers)
