Clinical Operations Lead

Marble is building the new operating system for youth mental health by connecting schools, therapists, and health plans on a single platform to unlock access to care today and raise the standard of care for tomorrow.

Last year, 1 in 10 teens attempted suicide. At the heart of this crisis is a severe lack of access to quality, affordable care. When kids can't get help, problems compound and preventable tragedies follow. Marble partners directly with school counselors to get students into care quickly by connecting them to licensed therapists through the insurance coverage they already have, with no waitlists.

We're an early-stage, fast-moving team. The people who join now will shape how we build and what we build.

We work with a network of licensed clinicians across New York, New Jersey, and Arizona, and we're growing quickly. Our clinical program — the protocols our providers follow, the bar we hold them to, and the support we give them — is the thing that determines whether this works. We're hiring someone to own it.

You'll also carry a small caseload on the platform. That's deliberate: it keeps your judgment current, gives you credibility with the network, and means you understand the provider experience firsthand.

As the first clinical operations hire, you're the senior clinical voice inside Marble's operating team. You are the person our clinicians come to, and the person our operators go to when something clinical needs a judgment call. You will work closely with our co-founders, medical director, head of operations and the care quality product engineering team.

The clinicians on our platform are the product. You own that.

• Hold the quality bar as we scale, including the call on who joins the network and who doesn't stay in it

• Run a regular cadence with clinicians and supervisors — coaching, course correction, and the hard conversations when they're needed

• Review and act on clinical quality concerns and complaints

• Design the process for how concerns get raised, reviewed, and resolved in the first place

You're the escalation point for the moments that matter most.

• Own crisis response and safety protocols: SI, higher level of care, mandated reporting, incident intake and investigation

• Handle escalations from supervisors and clinicians. When a question reveals there's no protocol, write one — and build the habit of doing that across the team

First pen on the clinical playbook.

• Own the protocols that govern day-to-day care: discharge and disengagement, documentation standards and chart audits, measurement-based care, treatment planning support for key conditions

• Bring working knowledge of HIPAA, FERPA, minor consent, and clinical documentation requirements to how we operate — including when a payer or auditor comes asking

• Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in New York (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent). Licensure in New Jersey or Arizona, or willingness to obtain it, is a plus.

• 5+ years building and leading clinical operations or tech-enabled service delivery. This is not a purely clinical supervision role — we're looking for someone who has run something, not only supervised within something.

• Direct experience owning clinical quality management: managing teams, setting the standard, and installing the operating rhythms that hold it.

• Experience with a distributed clinician network spanning credential types and states.

• Willing to carry a small caseload on our platform. The strongest fits bring telehealth experience and an adolescent or school-based behavioral health background.

• Comfortable operating with incomplete information. There's no playbook here — you're writing it.
