We are seeking a Clinical Application Specialist – Ultrasound to support clinical ultrasound activities across Romania.
This role is well-suited for clinicians who enjoy teaching, mentoring, and helping healthcare teams improve patient care through advanced medical technology. Rather than focusing solely on individual patient encounters, you will work alongside physicians, sonographers, hospitals, and healthcare partners to support the effective use of Philips ultrasound solutions in real-world clinical environments. As a Clinical Application Specialist, you will become a trusted clinical advisor and educator, helping healthcare professionals integrate ultrasound technology into their daily workflows with confidence and efficiency.
Location: Bucharest
Your role:Demonstrating Philips Ultrasound systems at customer sites, events and seminars, to help customers to understand the advantages of Philips Ultrasound equipment and solutions in their daily operation and workflows
Provide clinical guidance on protocol optimization, image quality, and exam efficiency
Performing after sales installation training and education, to maximize customer awareness and understanding of their Philips Ultrasound systems
Ensuring customer satisfaction by timely responding to all customer requests
Working closely with the KAM’s and Partners on lead generation by understanding the customer needs to maximize sales and customer satisfaction
Developing and executing educational program for the customers, maximizing the users knowledge with respect to clinical applications
Educating sales force of direct organization and indirect channel partners to upgrade their knowledge / skills related to Philips ultrasound products and competitive products
Building and maintaining proper relations with respective KOLs and customers
Cooperating with product management for feedback on products; providing customer feedback using the Philips customer feedback process
Bachelor’s degree in the technical or medical field
Clinical Ultrasound background or previous experience as an Ultrasound Clinical Application Specialist is highly preferred
Strong understanding of ultrasound technologies
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to educate and influence diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to work effectively with digital tools.
Fluent in Romanian and English languages, both verbal and written
Driver licence and willingness to travel extensively
