Description and Requirements
Role Value Proposition:
Position is responsible for providing administrative and customer service to group benefits policyholders (employers), sales, brokers and vendors on policies that have 2 to 99 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responds timely and accurately to client requests and policy questions via email or phone.
- Acts as liaison between client and internal MetLife areas.
- Comprehension and ability to communicate provisions of MetLife Core Benefits Products.
- Ability to handle high transaction/communications volumes on a daily basis.
- Manage due and unpaid accounts to conserve business.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Typically has 2-3 years of experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and relationship management.
- Ability to work in a team environment and assist other areas when needed.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, set schedules and prioritize to meet both internal and external deadlines.
Preferred:
- AAS or BS preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
