The Client Placement Specialist I is responsible for supporting and executing the organization’s client placement process. This role plays an essential role in matching clients with a network of providers who provide behavioral health and therapy services to more than 10,000 clients.
- Review and update high volume of client referral information to ensure appropriate match and placement with network of providers.
- Demonstrate a high-level of attention to detail in ensuring client needs are appropriately matched with provider capacity and contractual agreements.
- Interact with providers in compliance with FOC policies to confirm capacity and acceptance of new referrals.
- Manage calls with providers, while capturing information within systems and making data-based judgements regarding placement.
- Maintain detailed documentation within client records, capturing all information pertaining to placement.
- Ensure all appropriate documentation is accessible/sent to provider once provider has been identified.
- Ensure ongoing updating and electronic storage of all client placement related documents.
- Act as point of contact for escalated cases from clinical team, providers, or funder, escalating as needed.
- Maintain a clear line of communication with leadership of all urgent and sensitive issues regarding barriers to placement and management of all newly created services lines.
- Provide daily summary reports to Manager.
- Support Manager to meet and maintain Client Placement team V2MOM measures.
- Participate in innovative projects resulting in streamlining Client Placement processes.
- Perform Quality Reviews and assign work to team daily at direction of Manager.
- Participate in panel interviews for first level Client Placement Specialists as needed.
- Provider portal management overview, reporting system errors and missing information to management, leadership and XOLV.
- Support Director and Manager with escalated case processing and provider outreaches in the Provider Portal.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:
>1+ years of client placement experience.Experience in a behavioral health environment preferred.High school degree or GED preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
>Sensitivity to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population.A commitment to the values of the organization while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, patience and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), especially Excel and related computer software (Salesforce, Okta, Confluence).Ability to properly interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.Excellent verbal and writing communication skills; frequent proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.Must be highly detail oriented.Strong interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
>Must be able to communicate effectively within the work environment, read and write using the primary language with the workplace.Visual and auditory ability to work with clients, staff, and others in the workplace continuously.Frequent speaking and listening (25-75%) to clients, staff, and others in the workplace.Utilize computer and cell phone for effective communication. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.Must attend any required training.
