Position Purpose
The purpose of the Patient Experience Expert/Business Excellence & Engagement
is to manage tasks under Business Excellence function in the region. The jobholder is required to help represent Axios in daily meetings with patients, doctors and external stakeholders and carry out administrative duties which will be both in the field and office-based.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent communication with hospitals, healthcare providers, distributors, dispensing providers, patients, charities, and any other relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain positive feedback from the stakeholders.
- Increase the Satisfaction of physicians. Ensure that Axios scope of work is clearly communicated and understood among stakeholders.
- Communicate with all the stakeholders on behalf of the Axios, when needed. Liaise with Axios Regional and HQ Teams as needed.
- Overseeing and managing the development of material, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create materials, medical education materials, and conference presentations.
- Ensure that eligible patients are referred in the program(s) in a timely manner and in accordance with the project workflow and timelines.
- Ensure that current patients receive their drugs quickly and efficiently.
- Prepare timely monitoring reports (monthly) with patient numbers of referrals and logistics as well as quality assurance reports (quarterly) for internal review. This includes monitoring and tracking patient files in collaboration with Axios staff in “real time” as patients proceed through the program(s)
- Maintain and update electronic program files, including patient and quality assurance data
- Attending and completing Pharmacovigilance, Pharma and Product Training provided by the Client with a clear understanding of how to collect and report safety data
- Reporting any adverse events/product complaints as per client’s requirements and/or Axios SOPPs
- Conduct administrative duties for the office.
- Work on new proposals or presentations under the business development and new launches department.
- Your role also involves staying updated on the latest medical advancements, providing strategic guidance, and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
- Conduct all program activities through exclusive use of Axios’ Patient Management System (PMS).
- Additional duties as assigned.

Educational Background and Experience
- At least 2-5 years of professional experience in the healthcare sector is ideal
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English

- Experience in data monitoring and management is an advantage
- Experience coordinating and handling logistics/supply chain is a plus
- Experience in communication service management
- In lieu of working experience, a demonstrated passion for philanthropy through volunteer involvement is also a plus
Job Circumstances
- The position is based in Egypt office, and it requires frequent travel to hospitals, clinics, healthcare facilities, and partners which may be outside your designated region.
- Flexibility in ability to travel as well as working hours is essential.
