Meet the Team

Cisco is looking to identify a Senior Client Executive with talent, drive and ambition to sell Cisco solutions and own relationships in support of one Cisco’s customers. This role will involve driving the Cisco relationship up to a senior level. You will be responsible for effectively selling across all levels of the customer supported by the extended team. You will also focus on driving Strategic Account Planning, Sales strategies and Execution.

Your Impact

The Client Executive will have a growth mindset and this role will have direct responsibility for the strategy and execution for sustainable growth within the account. As such, they will partner across Cisco’s various technology segments and services to formulate and drive an all-encompassing focus across the full solution life cycle.

This is an opportunity-based position, driving the full Cisco Product, Software and services portfolio. You will develop the competitive account strategy in conjunction with the account team and orchestrate the extended team capabilities including, systems engineering, architectural specialists, services specialists, legal and finance to drive outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 20+ years sales experience handling large customer accounts
  • Proven strategic, business development, and sales/account development experience working within the industry
  • Demonstrated track record leading significant revenue responsibility and overachieving targets to meet and exceed goals
  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally
  • Consistent track record in influencing cross functionally and working closely with technical teams to drive timely delivery for customer requirements
  • Adept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goals
  • Strong executive gravitas, polished, and politically savvy
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to persuade -- using simple communications that convey sophisticated concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way
  • Extensive experience in closing large, strategic deals.
  • You are a self-starter able to work within an extended team to execute against a sales strategy, lead large complex deals and position the business value of Network and IT solutions to CXO’s and business leaders within your account(s)
  • Strong understanding across a broad range of Cisco technologies, but more importantly have an opinion on how these technologies lay the foundation for the customers digital strategy in meeting their business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Formal training in sales techniques (for eg. MEDDPIC)
  • Consistent record of successful solution selling and driving outcomes
  • Shown experience selling complex solutions to executive management.
  • Ability to network within a customer organisation to identify all key influencers and decision makers
  • Ability to work well with team members and collaborate effectively across the extended account team and the different internal business units where required.
