Position Overview:

The Private Wealth Client Service Associate is a client-facing role supporting Team Kaminsky within Neuberger's Private Wealth Management business. The Associate will serve as a primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, delivering hands-on, high-touch administrative and service support across onboarding, account management, and day-to-day client needs. In addition, this individual will serve as a backup equity trader for the team, stepping in to execute trades in a disciplined and responsible manner when the team's primary trader is unavailable. The Associate will partner closely with Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance, and Business Controls to ensure a seamless and rewarding client experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary service contact for existing and prospective private wealth clients, delivering responsive, high-touch support with strong follow-up and diligent execution

  • Establish new accounts for individual and entity clients, including document preparation, KYC data gathering and review, quality control checks prior to submission, account funding coordination, and information follow-up

  • Process account maintenance requests including: KYC updates (name changes, address changes, personal data updates, and investment objective changes), control and interested party updates, and account feature changes such as check writing, margin, and options

  • Review and process requests for fund disbursements, securities gifting, ACATs, and DTC transfers, ensuring accuracy and timely execution

  • Address client inquiries and service requests promptly; resolve issues in a timely manner and escalate complex matters as appropriate

  • Identify and flag suspicious activity to mitigate risk and prevent potential fraudulent account behavior

  • Provide support for the client online reporting portal (eClient), including initial setup assistance and ongoing general inquiries

  • Fulfill client requests for account documentation, performance reporting, tax documents, and other account-related materials

  • Support subscription document preparation and fulfillment for alternative and private equity investments

  • Maintain accurate client records and activity logs across internal systems

  • Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by management

  • Serve as a backup equity trader for the team

  • Execute equity trades accurately and responsibly in accordance with portfolio manager direction and firm trading policies and procedures

  • Maintain awareness of open orders, trade status, and settlement activity to ensure continuity of trading operations

  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of the team's equity strategies and client portfolios to support accurate and timely trade execution

Experience & Skills Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 2+ years of experience required

  • SIE, Series 7 & 66 licenses required or ability to obtain within firm timeline

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage professionally and warmly with a diverse, high-net-worth client base

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-through

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Collaborative, proactive, and service-oriented team player with a high standard of personal accountability

  • Passion for client service and interpersonal engagement, with a natural inclination toward roles that prioritize responsiveness, communication, and relationship management

  • Genuine interest in financial markets and investments

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$110,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
