Reporting to the Sales Manager and serving as a member of the North American Intermediary sales team, the primary responsibility of the Client Associate (CA) is to partner with the Client Advisor (external wholesaler) to promote and sell Neuberger Berman investment products through RIAs within a specific geographic region.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Client Advisor to promote and sell Neuberger Berman equity, fixed-income, alternative, and private equity products to advisors across RIAs
Make outbound calls as needed focusing on prospecting, uncovering, and closing sales opportunities, providing product updates, setting up sales appointments, and following up on client service
Act as a resource to advisors by developing and maintaining strong knowledge of Neuberger Berman products, the industry, the competition, our clients, and their firms
Develop a strategy with external wholesalers to maximize territory coverage; develop and maintain relationships with key advisors
Assist with territory and firm-wide marketing and sales campaigns
Assist in analyzing territory sales, marketing, and product data to determine opportunities
Respond to inbound sales inquiries, literature requests, and service issues
Act as a liaison between the sales force and the operations department to resolve client issues and problems
Maintain the contact relationship management database (Salesforce) to effectively manage the territory
Some limited travel may be required
Qualifications:
Prior experience in sales within financial services industry is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to prioritize projects and create and utilize a strong client management process
Must be a "self-starter" that can meet activity/production quotas
Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in business administration, marketing, or finance
Series 7 & 63/65 or 66 licenses required (or obtained within 6 months of hire)

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $70,000-$70,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus and production compensation, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
