Client Account Manager Do you enjoy selling but hate cold calling, hunting for new business, and constantly worrying about where your next deal is going to come from? Do you love to work on behalf of customers to help them solve problems? Do you enjoy technology but you're not necessarily a "super tech"? Want to work at an organization that invests in you every single day? If this sounds like you, then you need to apply for this Client Account Manager position! In this role, you will work with existing customers (no cold calling!). You will listen to their challenges and business needs to map them to our existing service offerings. You will work with clients to assess their existing technology, identify gaps, and create roadmaps and budgets. (You'll have a technical pre-sales person working alongside you - so you don't need to be a tech genius - you just need to genuinely love technology!) You will work with customers over the phone and in-person, so you'll need to be very personable, outgoing, an excellent communicator, and a stickler for detailed notes and follow-ups. Of course, you'll need to work with our CRM system to log opportunities, activities, and follow ups. Most importantly, you'll need to share our core values of Trust, Teamwork, Service, Innovation and Growth. If you are not a lifelong learner - this isn't the right role for you. BUT, if you're still interested, here's the nitty gritty!
Key Responsibilities:
· Work with existing customers to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demands.
· Work with our customer alignment tools to help customers identify gaps in their existing technologies, create business and technical roadmaps for the coming 12 months, and associate a budget to the roadmap.
· Cross-selling services and solutions to existing accounts.
· Map customer needs to the existing product and service catalog.
· Qualify, quote, and close new sales opportunities for current customers.
· Receive requests for service and product details from customers while providing timely responses.
· Conduct on-site or online presentations for customers.
· Work with pre-sales to develop proposals and quotes based on best practices.
· Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions.
· Maintain in-depth product knowledge (focused on business outcomes, not technology) - with a commitment to learn new things each week.
· Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in our CRM while remaining compliant with our policies and procedures.
· Attend weekly sales training and sales meetings.
· Manage the complexity of service proposals, contracts, lease agreements and service level agreements.
Key Qualifications:
· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects and deadlines.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· We expect our team members to serve our customers and each other to provide phenomenal experiences both internally and externally.
· Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence.
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and margins.
· Professional appearance and telephone skills.
· Must have current driver's license and vehicle.
Preferred Experience:
· Relevant certifications in account management or sales (e.g., Certified Account Manager (CAM), Customer Success Certification).

What We Do
Most small to mid-size businesses have a ton of tech tools, software, apps, and systems to help them run—and most small to mid-size businesses don’t have the resources (or, quite frankly, the time) to make sure all those tools are running correctly. That’s where we come in. PTG is an outsourced IT company based in Greenville, SC. We work with businesses to make sure they’re using the right tools for their needs, that those tools are working as expected, and that they’re actually providing value. On a daily basis, we handle issues that pop up with your technology, whether planned or unplanned--everything from fixing computer errors to checking into potentially malicious emails to setting up computers for new employees. We’ll also meet with you quarterly to discuss the big picture: your business goals and the tools you need to get there, your cybersecurity and disaster recovery plan, and budget planning. One of our core values is “We deliver phenomenal experiences”—if you’re not getting a phenomenal experience, you have the right to fire us at any time. We believe in re-earning your business with every interaction and we won’t lock you into a long-term contract. Phenomenal experiences don’t stop with customers. We believe in delivering phenomenal experiences for our employees, too—and our employees have voted us one of the Best Places to Work in SC for five years in a row. Here are a few more awards we’re proud of: Channel Futures MSP501 Top Managed Service Providers, 2017-2018 Best Places to Work in SC, 2014-2018 Microsoft East Region Office 365 Partner of the Year, 2017 Microsoft Southeast Area Cloud Partner of the Year, 2013, 2015, 2016 INC5000 Fastest Growing Companies, 2015-2017 Best of Upstate, 2014 Microsoft Southeast Area Community Connections Partner of the year, 2012 ?Check out our current job openings at https://www.goptg.com/Careers
