Clean Room and Assembly - DAYS
Hours for the position: Mon-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
$22 - $31 hourly, depending on level of experience
Job Summary:
The Clean Room Assembler is responsible for the assembly, testing, and documentation of sub-assemblies and top-level product integrations for production. This role involves collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain teams to ensure products are completed on schedule and meet defined specifications. Additionally, the Clean Room Assembler is tasked with maintaining the cleanroom environment and associated equipment, ensuring calibration schedules are met, and verifying proper storage and identification of raw materials.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical components, integrate electrical components, and conduct testing and documentation for both sub-systems and top-level products intended for customer use.
- Ensure all products are assembled and tested according to documented procedures, completing associated forms with accuracy.
- Maintain the cleanroom environment and equipment, including scheduling routine bioburden and air quality testing.
- Inspect and receive incoming materials to verify quality and compliance with workmanship standards.
- Perform final integration and testing of top-level products, including electrical safety assessments prior to shipment.
- Prepare and handle chemicals as required within the cleanroom environment.
- Flexibly support medical device assembly operations as needed.
- Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and Health & Safety initiatives within the facility.
- Provide support and constructive feedback to the Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 1–3 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO 9001), ideally involving high-dexterity tasks, such as aerospace industry assembly.
- Proficiency with common shop tools and exposure to mechanical measuring equipment.
- Strong logical thinking skills complemented by creative problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal technical communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, highly motivated, and patient, with a diligent approach to work.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in team environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Class 1000 Clean Room
Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity necessary for precision assembly of components.
- Good vision and ability to accurately read and interpret instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds from waist level to transfer parts to carts.
- Capacity to sit, stand, and kneel throughout the shift as required—this role is not sedentary.
Additional
The candidate picked for this position will also support assembly in builds to meet monthly goals of the company. Training in assembly will be provided as time allows.
