Title: Claims Quality Specialist - Crop

The Opportunity: The purpose of this role is to provide support to internal and external customers by handling low-to-medium cost and complexity claims file inquiries, evaluating and auditing claims, escalating issues when needed, and maintaining accurate documentation to align with corporate objectives and contribute to departmental success.

• Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
• Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week  {M-F 37.5 hours}
• The salary range for this role is between $23.75-$35.50 an hour

Your new role

• Provide claims customer service support by analyzing and responding to low-to-medium cost and complexity claims inquiries, escalating issues as needed.
• Gather and evaluate relevant information for claims, maintaining accurate documentation and resolving outstanding issues to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Support internal and external customers by analyzing claims files to identify leakages and compliance issues in the claims process.
• Follow established guidelines and identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance claims handling.
• Communicate claims file status and details with relevant stakeholders to support effective customer service delivery.
• Assist with audits for specialty crops and higher dollar claims, investigating concerns to ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in analyst onboarding by sharing technical knowledge and training new team members.
• Cultivate claims support skills and knowledge through peer advice, cross-training, and personal development.

Required Qualifications

• Secondary school certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Work Experience

• Experience with crop insurance.
• Experience with claim processing.

Compensation Package:

The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance. We encourage all candidates to apply, even if their salary expectations fall outside of this range, as we are committed to finding the right fit for our team.
