The Role

1. Role Purpose:
Provide strategic leadership and direct accountability for the Digital Partnerships function, driving sustainable growth, revenue maximization, and long-term value creation through robust partner relationships. Serve as a key member of the senior management team, collaborating with regional and local stakeholders to advance Chubb Life Vietnam’s digital distribution and partnership agenda.

2. Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Financial Leadership (30%):

  • Full ownership of P&L for Digital Distribution Channels & Partnerships; directly accountable for achieving all financial, customer, and growth targets.
  • Lead the development, execution, and monitoring of digital partnership strategies, business plans, and financial forecasts.
  • Work collaboratively with internal functions and stakeholders (including General Insurance business, Regional Digital teams…)  to set and oversee growth plans for key partnerships, including product roadmaps, marketing campaigns, and KPIs.

Partnership Management (30%):

  • Establish, manage, and deepen relationships with strategic partners (banks, fintech, third-party intermediaries); directly accountable for partnership outcomes and revenue generation.
  • Drive new business initiatives, differentiated products, and customer segmentation strategies to expand market reach.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements in all partnership activities.
  • Provide oversight to channel-specific sales, marketing, and operational teams, ensuring alignment and execution of partnership goals.

People Management & Leadership (20%):

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing digital partnerships team; directly accountable for talent acquisition, retention, and performance management.
  • Institutionalize best practices and foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Mentor and support team members, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Governance & Reporting (10%)

  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on partnership performance, revenue, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure robust governance and risk management across all digital partnership activities.

Other Duties: (10%)

  • Other duties as assigned by line manager.

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

3.1    Financial KPIs

  • Achievement of annual revenue targets from digital partnerships
  • Profitability and margin improvement of digital distribution channels
  • Growth in new business premiums and cross-sell/upsell rates through digital channels
  • Cost efficiency and budget adherence for digital initiatives

3.2    Non-Financial KPIs

  • Number and quality of new strategic partnerships established
  • Partner satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS)
  • Speed and success rate of new product launches via digital channels
  • Employee engagement and retention within the digital partnerships team
  • Compliance with regulatory and internal audit requirements
  • Implementation of best practices and process improvements across the partnership portfolio
  • Digital adoption and customer engagement metrics (e.g., active users, digital sales conversion rates)
     
Qualifications
  1. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Business, Banking, Digital, or related fields; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in partnership/sales management, business development, consulting, digital/data partnerships, or insurance.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams and budgets.
  • Proven track record in building senior-level relationships, especially in financial services.
  1. Knowledge & Skills:
  • Deep understanding of business, operating, and financial models.
  • Strong team leadership, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, planning, and organizing abilities.
  • Sales performance management and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills in Vietnamese and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing and enhancing long-term corporate partnerships, experience in digital transformation is preferred.
