• Job Overview:
The Chronos Process Engineer & Digital Leader will drive process optimization and manufacturing digitalization initiatives at the Irapuato plant. This role will combine expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, industrial automation, data analytics, and change management to improve line performance, reduce waste, increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness., and accelerate the adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions. The role will work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Safety teams to deliver sustainable improvements.
• Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process-improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, and root-cause analysis methodologies.
- Optimize production lines by identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve equipment effectiveness, stabilize processes, and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
- Lead the implementation and integration of digital manufacturing technologies, including Manufacturing Execution Systems, industrial IoT sensors, and PLC connectivity.
- Extract, model, and visualize operational data using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R to develop dashboards that support predictive and corrective decision-making.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Production, Maintenance, IT/OT, Quality, and Safety while managing change and promoting the adoption of new digital tools and ways of working.
• Hard Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, and root-cause analysis methods, including 5 Whys and Ishikawa diagrams.
- Experience with manufacturing digitalization and Industry 4.0 technologies, such as Manufacturing Execution Systems, industrial IoT and real-time data acquisition.
- Data analysis and business intelligence skills using platforms and tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production-line optimization, waste reduction, and OEE improvement.
- Ability to diagnose issues involving process variables, equipment performance, data flows, and software systems.
• Soft Skills:
- Change-management capabilities and the ability to influence operators, technicians, and leaders to adopt new technologies and work practices.
- Cross-functional leadership and the ability to align multidisciplinary teams without relying solely on hierarchical authority.

Job Qualifications
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience leading digital-transformation or Industry 4.0 projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with OT cybersecurity, cloud-based manufacturing platforms, or advanced predictive analytics.
