We are now looking for a Chip Design Engineer to join the Switch Silicon group.

As a Chip Design Engineer at NVIDIA Networking business unit, you will join a team of passionate engineers to design and implement the next generation of state-of-the-art Switch Silicon chips. In this role, you will have a direct impact in a dynamic, technology-focused environment, developing industry-leading high-speed communication devices that deliver the highest throughput and lowest latency.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work as part of a combined design and verification team developing advanced switch silicon core units, with a focus on quality of service (QoS).
  • Design, build, and maintain reference models, and perform verification and simulation of chip blocks/entities according to specifications under challenging constraints, with strong emphasis on power, area, and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Architecture, Micro-Architecture, and Firmware.

What we need to see:

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in chip design, verification, or related fields.
  • Strong background in programming and logic design.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
