About the role:
The Chief of Staff will be a key strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the company by building, implementing, and managing various high impact projects. This role will oversee the tracking of company-wide progress, ensuring alignment across all departments, and facilitating effective communication of performance through regular reports.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading the operating system
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s AOP and Goal setting process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Collaborate with department heads to define quarterly and annual OKRs, ensuring they are measurable and aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Track progress against OKRs, identify potential roadblocks, and work with teams to develop action plans to address any issues.
2. Operational Excellence:
- Design, implement, and manage the operating framework, ensuring that processes and workflows are optimised for efficiency.
- Monitor the execution of the company’s strategic initiatives and provide regular updates to the CEO and leadership team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
3. Strategic Initiatives and Projects:
- Act as the CEO’s right-hand person in driving key strategic projects and initiatives across the company.
- Work closely with the CEO to prioritize, plan, and execute special projects that align with the company’s long-term goals.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure project success.
4. Leadership and Communication:
- Support the CEO in preparing for leadership meetings, including developing agendas, facilitating discussions, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
- Serve as a communication bridge between the CEO and other senior leaders, ensuring that critical information is effectively communicated and understood.
- Represent the CEO in meetings, presentations, and other interactions as needed.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse data related to OKRs, strategic initiatives, and operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team.
- Develop dashboards and other tools to enable real-time tracking of key metrics.
- Ensure the timely and accurate publication of reports to stakeholders, maintaining a high level of transparency and accountability.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration from a Tier-1 institute
- Experience: 2+ years of consulting experience or from startup space
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
