The Position

Chapter Lead Business Enablement & Late Life Cycle Innovation

A healthier future. It’s what drives us to innovate. To continuously advance science and ensure everyone has access to the healthcare they need today and for generations to come.

At Roche, our Foundational Products portfolio represents an enduring pillar of patient care. These are trusted medicines that continue to deliver value long after launch, forming a bedrock of healthcare systems and ensuring continuity of care for patients, while enabling the next generation of innovation across our pipeline.

As Chapter Lead Business Enablement & Late Life Cycle (LLC) Innovation, you play a critical role in shaping how this value is sustained and extended. You are accountable for building and embedding Late Life Cycle (LLC) expertise as a distinct commercial and medical discipline, ensuring our foundational portfolio continues to deliver impact for patients, customers, and the enterprise.

You will help position the Foundational Products Squad (FPS) as a centre of excellence for late life cycle management, designing fit-for-purpose, cost-efficient Go-To-Market approaches and enabling a networked model that delivers value across multiple countries and diverse market contexts.

Your Opportunity

Chapter & Talent Leadership
You build and lead a high-performing team of Disease Area Marketing Leaders and Medical Enablers, developing deep LLC expertise. You coach talent to transition from traditional launch mindsets to late-life-cycle mastery, grounded in pragmatism, customer insight, and value delivery.

LLC Strategy & GTM Innovation
You define and evolve the LLC vision, designing targeted, cost-efficient GTM models that reflect the realities of mature brands. You move beyond replication of launch models, enabling differentiated approaches that maximise value with disciplined investment.

Enterprise Value & ROI Focus
You align the network around clear value drivers, including revenue revitalisation, portfolio optimisation, net revenue delivery, and cost discipline. You ensure every initiative is grounded in measurable impact and return.

Strategic Enabling within FPS
As a core member of the Foundational Products Enabling Team (FET), you help shape and evolve the FPS model. You enable organic, demand-driven expansion into new markets and contexts while maintaining clarity, consistency, and performance.

Commercial & Medical Excellence
You define standards for LLC excellence across omnichannel engagement, analytics, and medical partnership. You ensure the squad is equipped to operate effectively across 20+ countries and diverse healthcare systems, balancing consistency with local relevance.

Experimentation with Discipline
You foster a culture of focused experimentation, encouraging smart risk-taking while maintaining accountability. You enable the shift toward digital and hybrid engagement models through iterative learning and clear performance tracking.

Networked Ways of Working & Compliance
You operate effectively within a networked, multi-country model, ensuring clarity of roles, strong collaboration with affiliates, and full adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements. You simplify where possible, without compromising standards.

Who You Are

Proven Leader
You bring strong people leadership experience, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams and coaching leaders to operate effectively in complex environments.

Late Life Cycle & Commercial Strategist
You have deep experience managing product portfolios and understand the unique dynamics of late-life-cycle brands. You can translate this into practical, high-impact strategies, not theoretical frameworks.

Enterprise & Systems Thinker
You understand how value is created across the broader system. You are comfortable operating in a matrixed, multi-country environment, influencing without authority, and aligning diverse stakeholders.

Analytical & Outcome-Oriented
You combine strong business acumen with data-driven decision-making. You define and focus on clear outcomes and measurable impact, ensuring disciplined prioritisation and resource allocation.

Resilient & Pragmatic
You operate with agility in a dynamic environment, balancing long-term ambition with immediate business needs. You bring a practical mindset focused on execution and delivery.
