Job Description
Responsibilities
The role drives both short and long-term business growth through the optimization of Channel Management/Go-to-Market Strategy and the standardization of best practices of Channel Partners Engagement/Management.
As this is a role that requires close collaboration across multiple functions, it is essential to proactively deepen understanding of other departments’ work and contribute to business improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
1. Channel Management/Go-to-Market Strategy & Sales Process Optimization
- Develop robust strategies to utilize Channel partner/dealer’s capabilities to access target end-user segment effectively and engage key Channel partner/ dealers to increase PerkinElmer’s share.
- Develop and implement effective incentive programs to engage targeted Channel partner/Dealer.
- Visualize, standardize, and continuously improve end-to-end sales opportunity management by involving Channel partner/dealers.
- Manage the targeted Channel partner/dealers’ sales pipeline and enhance forecast accuracy.
- Design and execute an annual initiative to assess high-potential Channel partner/dealers which have higher potential to reach strategically important end-users and willingness to collaborate with PerkinElmer to increase mutual revenue and select appropriate set of Channel partner/dealers which we provide incentive programs for appropriate end-user and geographic coverage.
2. Data Analytics & KPI Management
- Analyze sales, win rates, and performance by product segment by Channel partner/dealer
- Design, monitor, and continuously improve commercial KPIs, focusing on Channel partner/dealer management
- Support the establishment of a data-driven decision-making culture.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Service, and Finance teams.
- Provide coaching and training support to the sales organization.
- Support change management in transformation and improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Direct/Indirect sales, Channel Partner managing, Marketing related a plus
- Proven experience in data analysis and reporting
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to proactively identify issues and propose practical improvement initiatives.
Preferred Characteristics
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and/or BI tools
- Experience in Commercial excellence
- Experience working in a multinational or matrix organization.
