Department OverviewThe Channel Field Marketing Team is responsible for developing and executing channel marketing programs and tactics to drive demand generation with end users, sales enablement, and brand positioning. The team oversees all regional marketing strategies, development programs, and campaigns, including digital, content generation, thought leadership initiatives, account-based marketing, customer experiences, events, and marketing analytics.
Job Description
Lead marketing activities in the region or for assigned account managers, responsible for developing and implementing the channel field marketing plan in the territory, aligned with the sales team’s priorities.
Own and develop the relationship with the local sales team to ensure alignment and execution of the marketing plan, and work closely with them to generate an incremental sales pipeline for existing and new products and services.
Manage and distribute the territory budget according to the plan.
Use demand-generation tools, resources, and agencies for campaigns, programs, and reporting.
Work closely with the digital campaign team to create integrated programs and demand-generation campaigns aligned with sales priorities and new product launches.
Adapt regional content for local use (as needed).
Develop customer case studies to promote portfolio benefits to customers.
Plan, develop, and track events including trade shows, conferences, anniversaries, industry events, technology days, etc.
Develop programs and incentives to increase engagement and loyalty among distributors and partners.
Support to our local distributors and partners, resellers with marketing programs and initiatives that grow sales and provide positive ROI.
Plan, review, and approve partner use of co-op funds.
Collaborate with other Marketing team members (i.e., Customer Insights, Digital Campaigns Marketing, and Lead Management) on priorities and trends in the territory.
Study and understand legal/regulatory, economic, and any other environmental factor(s) affecting customers in the territory.
Understand the local competitive landscape and position Motorola Solutions to compete with other brands.
Own the relationship with local vendors/associations/conferences.
Elevate the most important/relevant info to be communicated to senior leadership.
Look for commonalities in field marketing processes, activities, and related areas to leverage best practices across territories.
Support the global team in reviewing catalogs, brochures, spec sheets, presentations, and other resources for Portuguese LACR translations.
Work as a ‘Solving for Safer’ brand and narrative ambassador in the LACR region, ensuring the proper usage of wording and visual resources according to the guidelines.
Basic Requirements
Professional in Marketing or related fields with at least 4 years of B2B field marketing experience, preferably in the technology industry and channel marketing
Must be self-starting and self-driven, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally to deliver the best results
Extensive knowledge to drive marketing strategic planning and tactical execution.
Business and marketing plan development skills, including the definition of objectives, tactics, time schedules, budgets, responsibilities, analytics, and measurements
Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects simultaneously
You are metric-driven and can draw insight from complex marketing data
Marketing degree or similar required
A postgraduate degree or a master's is a plus
