Job Description

We are looking for a commercially skilled data-driven specialist to lead and advance our Channel Excellence agenda across Western Europe. This is a great opportunity to join our newly formed channel structure within our Western European Regional Commercial Development team to play a pivotal role in realising our strategic goals and implementing the channel and category management agenda across local customers in Italy to drive consumer sales impact!  

Please note: This position will be based in our LEGO® Sales Office in Milan and will follow a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remotely. Relocation support is not offered.  

 

Core Responsibilities  

Regional Channel Strategy Responsibilities:  

  • Support the Senior Channel Excellence Managers in building and delivering the new long-term global channel development vision across core and emerging channels.  

  • Support the Channel Growth Directors in implementing strategies for regional expansion, ensuring alignment with the overall Global and Western European growth vision.  

  • Collaborate with local teams directly and across Customer networks, to identify new market opportunities and drive scalable initiatives across the region. 

Project Management:  

  • Coordinate regional channel excellence shopper and customer projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with strategic goals  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Portfolio to drive project and process outcomes and ensure regional objectives are met  

  • Champion an agile approach for the deployment of project outcomes that have impact with our customers ensuring alignment and implementation.  

  • Analyse and learn from the latest shopper insights from internal projects across global/ regional/ local teams, improving the resonance of customer materials  

Regional Network Meeting Support:  

  • Facilitate regional network collaboration sessions, focusing on agenda planning and driving action accountability regionally. 

  • Play a supporting role to help connect key partners, plan and complete all within a timely manner. 

  • Collaborate across regional and local channel teams to understand successes and failures, test, and share findings (part of the copy and scale network agenda).  

  • Focus on the wider teams’ annual calendar of process and deployment, ensuring channel inputs are delivered in time whilst planning required inputs with in-region Business Units and Regional teams

Do You Have What It Takes?  

  • Proven record in commercial roles with a category and channel linked to strong business performance.  

  • In-depth knowledge of the retail and channel landscape in Western Europe.  

  • Experience in a large international organisation with expertise in sales processes and customer execution, ideally with a regional remit  

  • Strong commercial competence, with the ability to build relationships and convince across levels of seniority collaborating both with internal and external partners.  

  • A strategic outlook with a pragmatic approach to business challenges applying strong analytical skills where insights identify challenges are turned into actionable plans that impact. 

  • Strong business proficiency in English and Italian.
