As a Channel Deployment Manager (Rx), you will be responsible for deploying and optimizing commercial and distribution strategies for prescription medicines, ensuring their broad, uninterrupted availability for patients across Poland.

This role acts as a senior commercial partner for key pharmacy chains and pharmaceutical wholesalers, focused on distribution excellence, pricing and access strategy, contractual cooperation and cross‑functional execution. The position is fully dedicated to Rx products and plays a critical role in securing patient access in line with internal policies, compliance standards and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Rx Channel & Distribution Management

  • Develop and deploy commercial and distribution strategies for prescription medicines in cooperation with pharmacy chains and pharmaceutical wholesalers.

  • Ensure appropriate availability levels, numeric distribution and continuity of Rx supply, supporting widespread and reliable patient access across all key channels.

  • Monitor and optimize channel execution, identifying risks and opportunities related to Rx availability, distribution effectiveness and customer performance.

Key Customer Cooperation

  • Co‑create and execute long‑term cooperation strategies with key pharmacy chains and wholesalers, building sustainable, compliant and value‑based partnerships.

  • Lead professional commercial negotiations related to pricing, availability, distribution terms and contractual frameworks for prescription medicines.

Commercial & Pricing Excellence

  • Contribute to shaping pricing policy and competitive positioning of GSK Rx products in wholesale and pharmacy channels.

  • Work closely with Finance and Business Owners to evaluate commercial scenarios, balancing business objectives with patient access and sustainability.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Cooperate closely with Marketing Teams across relevant Business Units, sharing insights related to:

    • market trends, customer behaviors and channel dynamics affecting the Rx business,

    • business and technological solutions available on the market supporting the promotion and sales of prescription medicines (e.g. analytics, IT or AI‑based tools).

  • Work with cross‑business partners (Business Owner / Product Manager, Finance Partner, Legal Manager, Compliance Officer, Supply Chain Manager, Tax Manager, Customer Service Team) to evaluate, prepare and implement commercial offers, contracts, etc. in line with internal standards and compliance requirements.

Execution, Analysis & Ways of Working

  • Use GSK systems and analytical tools to monitor performance, availability, pricing and execution quality, translating data into clear recommendations.

  • Manage time, priorities and resources effectively to deliver agreed objectives and commercial goals.

  • Support selected execution‑focused customer marketing initiatives in collaboration with marketing teams

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience as a Key Account Manager in a commercial or customer‑facing role, gained in Rx, OTC or food supplements, with direct cooperation with pharmacy chains and/or pharmaceutical wholesalers.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Strong practical knowledge of:

    • pharmacy networks, buying groups and pharmaceutical wholesalers,

    • dependencies and decision‑making mechanisms within distribution channels,

    • commercial and negotiation mechanisms impacting product distribution and availability.

  • High competence in customer negotiations and sales techniques.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build long‑term, trust‑based business relationships.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market and financial data.

  • Strong customer‑ and result‑orientation aligned with agreed strategy and objectives.

  • High level of self‑organization and independence in time and customer relationship management.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.

  • Driving license (category B) and readiness for frequent business travel across Poland.

  • Fluent Polish speaker.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced English (spoken and written).

  • KAM experience (pharmacies/pharmacy wholesalers)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales or related field.

  • Experience in using AI or advanced digital tools to support analysis, planning or daily work.

The annual base salary in Poland for new hires in this position ranges from PLN 199,500 to PLN 332,500 gross, taking into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer’s discretion). All statutory benefits will be maintained in accordance with Polish law. Other benefits may also be offered, which may include private healthcare, additional paid days off, life insurance, private pension plan and fully paid parental leave & care of family member leave. More detailed information on the total reward package applicable to your role will be supplied during the recruitment process.
