As a Channel Account Manager at Wasabi, you’ll play a key role in driving our growth across the ASEAN region. We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven sales professional to build and execute our channel strategy, working closely with partners to position Wasabi within their sales and marketing efforts and drive end-customer adoption.
You’ll be supported by a strong channel marketing program that generates partner leads and provides a wide range of resources to help you succeed — enabling you to focus on building impactful partnerships and scaling Wasabi’s presence in the region.
This role reports to the Country Manager, ASEAN.
- Recruit, onboard, and activate high-potential channel partners to expand Wasabi’s presence in the region.
- Build and manage strong partner relationships, engaging key stakeholders to drive long-term success.
- Enable partners to position and sell Wasabi’s hot cloud storage solutions, ensuring clear understanding of our value proposition.
- Drive adoption of Wasabi’s channel programs to accelerate partner-led growth.
- Develop and execute joint business plans with partners, including performance goals, revenue targets, and key milestones.
- Achieve sales targets and strategic objectives through effective partner management and execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align Wasabi and partner resources and drive sales to end customers.
- Maintain strong communication and adherence to channel engagement guidelines both internally and externally.
- 3–5 years of experience in technology channel sales; experience in storage is a plus
- Experience working across ASEAN markets is required
- Proven ability to plan effectively, set goals, and follow through to achieve results
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and proactive in approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to contribute ideas and drive team success
- Open to feedback, with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth (start-up) environment
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Bachelor’s degree
