CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Categories in focus are trade transportation logistics.
- To develop, plan and implement sourcing strategy, and drive sourcing initiatives in order to deliver savings to target within trade transportation logistics categories.
- Lead the development and execution of long-term trade transportation logistics category and sourcing strategies for ABB drives CN.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to align priorities, understand challenges, and ensure successful implementation of trade transportation logistics strategies.
- Manage a wide supplier base, and develop it to fit to requirements of cost reduction, efficiency, quality, delivery and sustainability in accordance with company guidelines.
- Negotiate agreements based on corporate contractual framework with suppliers, and periodically renew price lists, terms and conditions.
- Work with process improvements and system implementations, utilizing digital tools to make it easy to buy and always ensuring transparency and compliance.
- Build and manage an annual pipeline of strategic initiatives that deliver year-on-year savings and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with procurement teams and key users across function to drive cost reductions and harmonize best practices.
- Ensure robust supplier management: performance tracking, innovation programs, risk mitigation and regular business reviews.
- Monitor procurement transactions to ensure accurate coding, documentation, and approval flows.

- Promotes and enables collaboration in the BL, across BLs, and teams to maximize results for ABB.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensure alignment.
- Ensures that their own area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
- Builds effective, competent, and high-performing teams.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree or above, with a preference for supply chain related majors
- 3-5 years of work experience, preferably with at least 3 years of supply chain procurement experience
- Experience in industrial control/electrical/mechanical industries is preferred
- Proficient in SAP Ariba and Excel, with a preference for familiar with Power BI
- Fluent in English reading and writing, able to communicate orally
- Have good communication and coordination skills
